Smith, and Will Muschamp. - Pat Fitzgerald gets it. He knows his job is heavy marketing related. Listen to Fitzgerald as he describes the challenges he faces as the Northwestern head coach. - Illinois head coach Tim Beckman will be on hand at Wrigley Field on Saturday for the Cubs' game. It's Illini Day at Wrigley. - Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson believes the addition of special teams coordinator Dave Walkosky will pay off for the Yellow Jackets. Johnson told the Atlanta Journal Constitution, "it's kind of like they've done it because I think they knew I kind of wanted them to and it was expected. Now they're more excited to do it than they have been in the past." - UAB has released a video featuring a Q&A with tight end coach Richard Owens, who is in his first year on the Blazers' staff under Garrick McGee. - FAU head coach Carl Pelini described his defensive backs coach Ross Watson by saying, "You don't have to tell him to do anything twice. He's one of those guys that's very driven. You can say, I need something done. You don't have to be very specific about how to do it. He'll get it done." - Auburn has released a video highlighting their student-athlete academic facility.
