A lot has been made of Nick Saban's reported 90-minute Skype session with Camden County HS (GA) quarterback Brice Ramsey.

The funniest response may have come today, courtesy of UTEP head coach Mike Price.

During an interview on SiriusXM's College Football Playbook with Jack Arute and Houston Nutt, Price said, "I heard that Coach Saban talked to some quarterback in Georgia for 90 minutes.  (I'm thinking) What the hell were they talking about?"

Price, who is set to enter is eight season at UTEP, went on to explain that his staff soon begin their summer camps in different cities across the state of Texas.

Last summer, the staff held three camps in Houston, three in Dallas, one in Fort Worth, one in Austin, and two others.

"I'm not looking to make any money at these camps.  They are $30.  I'm not looking to get 250 (players) at the camp," said Price.  "I'm just want prospects at the camp.  If we have 80 (overall) and 40 of them are prospects, well then that's a real good camp."

Jack Arute asked the veteran coach if he felt like he had to sneak into Austin during the dark of night to hold a camp in Longhorns' backyard.

Price amused the audience once again by saying, "With a record like mine in Texas, they probably welcome me.  They put out a buffet for me to come in.  We're not threatening anybody in some of these towns."

UTEP hosts Oklahoma to begin the 2012 season.  A week later, the Miners travel to Ole Miss, then host New Mexico State.  A trip to Wisconsin in week #4 rounds out the non-conference schedule.
