Montana: According to The Missoulian, Wisconsin-Whitewater head coach Lance Leipold and Washington wide receivers coach Brent Pease have expressed interest in the Montana head-coaching job.
Alabama State: Head coach Reggie Barlow tells the Montgomery Advertiser he believes he will remain head coach after this Saturday’s season finale. Barlow has been asked to resign, despite signing a contract extension in September.
Florida A&M: Interim head coach Corey Fuller tells the Tallahassee Democrat he formally applied for the full-time job last week. Fuller is 1-2 as interim head coach. FAMU's season finale is this Saturday.
Nebraska-Kearney: According to the Kearney Hub, UNK athletic director Paul Plinske has promised a higher salary, a higher assistant salary pool and additional scholarship funds for the next head coach. Former head coach Darrell Morris had a 2014 salary of $79,120.
Salary database: USA Today has released its annual database of college head-coaching salaries in 2014. These numbers include various bonuses. The average salary has nearly doubled since 2006.

Marshall: According to the Charleston Daily Mail, Doc Holliday’s buyout if he was to resign voluntarily on or before Dec. 6, 2014 is $1.2 million. That is the date of the Conference USA championship game. The payment drops to $600,000 after Dec. 6,. Marshall has already secured a spot in the game. The buyout is $3 million if he accepts the head-coaching job at West Virginia.
