San Francisco 49ers: Assistant general manager Tom Gamble has left the organization. Gamble spent 10 years with the 49ers, most recently rejoining the team in 2015. Keep track of open FBS assistant jobs here.
North Carolina: Former Purdue running backs coach DeAndre Smith will join the UNC staff in the same role, according to Inside Carolina. Smith spent one year at Purdue and previously coached at Syracuse, New Mexico, Illinois and UNLV. He played at Missouri State with UNC offensive coordinator Chris Kapilovic.
New Mexico State: A source tells CoachingSearch that Washington State quality control assistant Chase Holbrook will join the New Mexico State staff as tight ends coach. Holbrook spent one year at Washington Sate and previously worked at Tarleton State (TX). He played quarterback at NMSU from 2005-08.
East Carolina: Gerad Parker will not join the ECU staff, following an OVI on Tuesday morning, according to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy. Parker was Purdue’s wide receivers / interim head coach last season. He had joined Cincinnati as running backs coach, but resigned to take the ECU job. His contract had not been signed when he was arrested.
Ole Miss: The school has self-imposed a bowl ban for 2017, as part of the ongoing NCAA investigation. It will also forfeit around $7.8 million in SEC postseason revenue. Among the charges include lack of institutional control, and violation of head coach responsibility legislation, both of which the school is appealing. Auburn: Opelika High School (AL) head coach Brian Blackmon will join the Auburn staff as an analyst, according to 247Sports. Blackmon has been at Opelika for 21 years and has been the head coach since 2009.
West Florida: Per source, West Florida has added former Abilene Christian defensive coordinator Darian Dulin (defensive coordinator / DB coach), former FIU graduate assistant Blair Peterson (tight ends coach) and former Georgia Prep Sports Academy quarterbacks coach Riley Swanson (running backs coach).
Western Michigan: Per source, West Florida running backs graduate assistant Billy Vandemerkt has accepted a quality control job at Western Michigan. Vandemerkt spent two years at UWF, working alongside new Western Michigan defensive backs coach Cory Sanders.
Nebraska: Wide receivers coach Keith Williams has been sentenced to 30 days in jail for his summer DUI, according to the Lincoln Journal-Star. Williams can serve the 30 days on house arrest. He was suspended for the first four game of the 2016 season.
Humboldt State: Offensive coordinator Aaron Price is the new head coach at El Paso Hanks High School. Price, the son of Mike Price, spent one year at Humboldt and previously worked at Tulane and UTEP.
Michigan: Kevin Lempa’s title at Michigan is senior defensive analyst. Lempa spent last season as Hawaii defensive coordinator.
UTSA: Former Alabama defensive line coach Bo Davis has joined the UTSA staff as defensive line coach. Davis worked at Alabama from 2014-15, but resigned a year ago after an NCAA violation. He spent last summer interning with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Washington: Matt Lubick has joined the Washington staff as co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach.
Baylor: Co-offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Matt Lubick has left the staff to take another position. His next stop will be Lubick’s third move of the offseason. He was let go as Oregon offensive coordinator with the changes there, then joined Ole Miss as wide receivers coach, then joined Baylor. Quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas will be promoted to co-offensive coordinator.
UL-Monroe: Per source, McNeese State offensive line coach Eman Naghavi will join ULM as offensive line coach. Naghavi spent the last two years on the McNeese staff, as well as 2011-12. He played and coached at McNeese under current ULM head coach Matt Viator.
Air Force: Former Minnesota offensive line coach Bart Miller (tight ends) and Toronto Argonauts wide receivers coach Taylor Stubblefield (wide receivers) have joined the Air Force staff. In addition, tight ends coach Steed Lobotzke has moved to offensive line. Miller spent the last two years at Minnesota. Stubblefield spent one year with the Argos, and this is his seventh job in the last eight years.
South Alabama: A source tells CoachingSearch that head strength coach Justin Schwind has moved to director of football operations. Schwind has been at USA since 2009. He fills the spot opened by Colin Hitschler, who was promoted to a full-time coaching job.
Charlotte: Former Oklahoma State offensive line coach Greg Adkins has joined the Charlotte staff as offensive line coach. Adkins spent the last two years at OK State. With the move, previous offensive line coach Johnson Richardson will move to tight ends coach.
Appalachian State: Defensive backs coach Scot Sloan has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator. Sloan is entering his eight season on staff.
Alabama: Assistant strength coach Denzel Devall will be promoted to director of player development, according to the Bastrop Daily Enterprise. Devall joined Alabama last spring as a player development assistant and moved to assistant strength coach in the spring.
Chicago Bears: A source tells CoachingSearch that Chattanooga defensive coordinator Brandon Staley has joined the Bears as outside linebackers coach. Staley spent the last two seasons as John Carroll University defensive coordinator and had moved to Chattanooga earlier this offseason.
Baltimore Ravens: Former Georgia State defensive coordinator Jesse Minter has accepted an off-field job with the Ravens, according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman. Minter spent the last four years at Georgia State.
Kentucky: Per the Louisville Courier-Journal, offensive coordinator Eddie Gran has a new 3-year deal that pays him $825,000 in 2017, with $25,000 raises the next two years. He would owe UK $150,000 if he leaves for another job. In addition, recently-promoted defensive coordinator Matt House will earn $650,000 annually on a 3-year deal, new outside linebackers coach / special teams coordinator Dean Hood will earn $350,000 on a 2-year deal, and new defensive line coach Derrick LeBlanc will earn $300,000 on a 2-year deal.
Charleston (WV): Ohio defensive graduate assistant Zack Johnson has joined the University of Charleston staff.

Chicago Bears: Tennessee wide receivers coach / passing game coordinator Zach Azzanni has accepted the wide receivers job with the Bears, according to Volquest and the Chicago Tribune. Azzanni spent four years at Tennessee and previously coached at Wisconsin, Western Kentucky and Florida.
USC: Indiana running backs coach / special teams returns coordinator Deland McCullough has accepted the running backs / run game coordinator job at USC. McCullough spent six years at Indiana, producing NFL Draft picks in each of the last two years in Tevin Coleman and Jordan Howard. The Hoosiers broke 19 school rushing records during McCullough’s tenure.
Chicago Bears: Former 49ers special teams coordinator Derious Swinton II will rejoin the Bears as assistant special teams coach, according to The Sporting News’ Alex Marvez. Swinton spent one year with the 49ers and previously was the Bears’ assistant special teams coach.
Temple: A source tells CoachingSearch that former Georgia State outside linebackers coach Larry Knight will join Temple as assistant director of player personnel. Knight spent two years at Georgia State after two years as a quality control assistant at Tennessee.
Texas A&M: Southern Miss director of recruiting Mike Jones will join the Texas A&M staff, according to the Hattiesburg American. Jones spent two years at USM.
Indiana State: Per source, Indiana State’s staff is complete. Several have previously been reported, and the full staff is: Jeff Hecklinski (OC), Brad Wilson (DC), Jayden Everett (RB), Roy Roundtree (WR), Tyler Funk (TE), Darrell Funk (OL), Mark Smith (DL / asst HC), Grant Olson (LB), Deon Broomfield (CB), Craig Smith (DFO).
Rutgers: Defensive backs coach Bill Busch has been promoted to co-defensive coordinator. Busch is entering his second year on the staff.
Defiance College (OH): Ball State offensive graduate assistant Doug Ehinger has joined the Defiance staff as offensive line coach. Ehinger spent the last two years at Ball State and previously worked at Albion (MI).
