Buffalo: Per source, Buffalo video coordinator Jon Barnum has accepted a position at Maryland. Barnum had been at UB since 2011 and previously worked at Jacksonville State.
Dakota College (ND): Former ASA Miami tight ends / H-backs coach Roger Mitchell has joined the Dakota College staff as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach. Mitchell spent last season at ASA Miami and was previously the head coach at Piper High School in Florida.
Georgia: UGA will spend $2,893,550 on 34 support staff positions, according to the Athens Banner-Herald. That’s up 33 percent from $2,171,393 from last season with eight more positions than last season. Some salaries include: director of player development Jonas Jennings ($215,730), director of football operations Josh Lee ($185,400), director of football administration Mike Cavan ($185,000), director of player personnel Marshall Malchow ($180,000), director of player wellness Bryant Gantt ($128,750) and special teams analyst James Vollono ($82,400).
Los Angeles Rams: Per source, Louisiana Tech director of recruiting Chance Trickett has accepted a position with the Rams. Trickett spent one year at LA Tech and was previously a recruiting assistant at Florida State in 2014.
Louisiana Tech: Per source, LA Tech plans to promote recruiting assistant Armani Perez to the director of recruiting role. Perez has spent one year at LA Tech and was previously in the Florida State recruiting department for two years.
Kentucky Wesleyan: Cumberland University graduate assistant Fred Marshall has joined the Kentucky Wesleyan staff as defensive backs coach. Marshall spent two years at Cumberland after his playing career at Presbyterian.
St. Scholastica (MN): Beloit College offensive line coach Matt Keith has joined the St. Scholastica staff as offensive line coach / head strength coach. Keith spent one year at Beloit following a playing career at Mount Union.
Oklahoma: Offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh and defensive backs coach Kerry Cooks have been promoted to assistant coordinator positions. Bedenbaugh is entering his fourth season on staff, and Cooks is entering his second. Both received new two-year contracts and raises in June.
Navy: Per source, assistant director of player personnel Preston Pehrson has been promoted to football recruiting coordinator. Pehrson is entering his second season at Navy and previously spent four seasons at Georgia Tech.
