Miami (FL): Keep an eye on Mario Cristabal for the wide receivers job under Al Golden.

Missouri: Sources tell me former Iowa wide receivers coach Erik Campbell has interviewed with Missouri.

Clark Atlanta University: Sources tell me Tusculum defensive line coach Kevin Weston will be named head coach at Clark Atlanta.

Snow College: Head coach Tyler Hughes has resigned.

Syracuse: CBS Sports reporter Bruce Feldman reports Syracuse defensive coordinator Scott Shafer will be promoted to head coach.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills will interview Jaguars defensive coordinator Mel Tucker for the defensive coordinator job.

New York Jets: The New York Daily News is reporting quarterbacks coach Matt Cavanaugh is out.

Northern Illinois: Sources tell me former Cincinnati corners coach Shannon Morrisson has interviewed for thr defensive backs job.

Dallas Cowboys: Running backs coach Skip Peete will not return.

Nevada: Brian Polian has been officially named head coach at Nevada. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports his contract is for five years with a base annual salary of $475,000.

Chattanooga: Sources tell me that former James Madison offensive coordinator Jeff Durden has interviewed for the offensive coordinator job at Chattanooga

Delaware: Delaware head coach K.C. Keeler has been dismissed.

Western Illinois: Northern Iowa defensive coordinator Matt Entz has been named associate head coach at Western Illinois.

Florida State: Sources tell me that Jimbo Fisher will hire Georgia Tech interim defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Charles Kelly as linebackers coach.

Purdue: Florida State's 247 site is reporting FSU linebackers coach Greg Hudson has accepted an offer to become Purdue's defensive coordinator. I have confirmed this information.

Ball State: Sources tell me safties coach Terry Lantz will not return.

Eastern Michigan: Former Ball State head coach Stan Parrish has been named offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at Eastern Michigan.

Virginia Tech: Ten days ago, I reported Stanford offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton would likely emerge as a strong candidate to become the offensive coordinator at Virginia Tech. Today, CBS Sports teporter Burce Feldman is reporting Frank Beamer will meet with Hamilton. Beamer and Hamilton are in Nashville at the AFCA Convention.

NC State: Bill Nayes has been named director of football operations. Joe McKillip has been named assistant director.

UTEP: I have learned Patrick Higgins' title at UTEP will be offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.

Penn State: Bill O'Brien denied asking for or receiving a raise to stay at Penn State. He talked about his decision to turn down the NFL at a press conference this morning. Here is our story.

Southern Miss: Sources tell me former Tennessee cornerbacks coach Derrick Ansley will join Todd Monken's staff at Southern Miss.

Western Michigan: Delaware running backs coach Kirk Ciarrocca has officially accepted Western Michigan's offensive coordinator job.

Western Michigan: Elon defensive coordinator Ed Pinkham has officially accepted the same position at Western Michigan.

Stanford: Tampa Bay Times reporter Greg Auman is reporting Stanford outside linebackers coach Lance Anderson has decided to remain at Stanford after having an offer to go to USF with Willie Taggart as defensive coordinator.

Arkansas State: Sources tell me Troy corners coach Julius Brown will join Bryan Harsin's staff at Arkansas State.

Tennessee: Former Tennessee player Terry Fair will join Butch Jones' staff in a quality control role.

Troy: Sources tell me Wayne Bolt is the leading candidate to replace Jeremy Rowell as the defensive coordinator at Troy. Bolt served in an off-the-field capacity at Auburn for the last couple of years under Gene Chizik. He previously served as the defensive coordiantor at Troy at one point in time under Larry Blakeney.

Lousiana Tech: Sources tell me former NFL assistant assistant Ronnie Bradford will join Louisiana Tech's staff.

South Alabama: BamaOnline.com is reporting that Alabama director of player development Kevin Sherrer has interviewed for the defensive coordinator job at South Alabama.

FIU: Expect Stanford offensive quality control Morgan Turner to end up on his father's staff at FIU.

Chicago Bears: According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Bears have requested permission to interview Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Chicago has also received permission to interview Houston Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.

Kent State: New head coach Paul Haynes will reportedly retain offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Brian Rock and defensive line coach Brian George.
