San Francisco 49ers: Former 49ers nose tackle Aubrayo Franklin will join the 49ers staff as a defensive assistant, according to the Sacramento Bee. 

Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens are expected to sign former Bears tight ends coach Andy Bischoff as an offensive assistant, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Washington Redskins: Former Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell has been named defensive backs coach for the Redskins. 

Tulsa: Here’s a look at Philip Montgomery’s completed staff at Tulsa.

San Francisco 49ers: CSN Bay Area reports the 49ers are expected to hire former ECU head coach and Tampa Bay Bucs running backs coach Steve Logan for a position on the offensive side of the ball. 

Tulsa: Houston Baptist cornerbacks / nickelbacks coach Aaron Fletcher has joined the Tulsa staff as cornerbacks coach. This completes Philip Montgomery’s staff. Keep track of new FBS staffs here.

Florida: Per source, former 49ers offensive assistant Ronald Curry is in the mix for the Florida wide receivers job. Curry was a wide receiver for the Raiders when Jim McElwain was the quarterbacks coach in 2006.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Former Raiders running backs coach Kelly Skipper has joined the Jags in the same role.

Albany: The school has announced a number of changes. Additions to the staff include former Clarion head coach Jay Foster (defensive backs) and Rensselaer linebackers coach Dave Plungas (defensive assistant). In addition, tight ends coach Gabe Luvara has been promoted to assistant offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach, offensive coordinator Joe Bernard has added the title of assistant head coach, linebackers coach Bernard Clark has been promoted to defensive coordinator / linebackers / associate head coach, director of operations Jeff Dittman has been promoted to defensive assistant / special teams coordinator, and volunteer assistant Nate Byham has been promoted to tight ends coach. Harry Traylor will now serve as director of operations.

Kent State: Former Miami (Ohio) wide receivers coach Mark Spencer will join the Kent State staff as running backs coach, according to Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans. Keep track of open FBS assistant jobs here

Chicago Bears: Assistant defensive line coach Clint Hurtt will remain with the Bears as outside linebackers coach. 

Oakland Raiders: 49ers special teams assistant Tracy Smith has joined the Raiders in the same role.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Running backs coach Terry Richardson has been dismissed, according to the Florida Times-Union, and former Raiders running backs coach Kelly Skipper will interview for the position. 

Denver Broncos: Former Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips will interview for the same position with the Broncos on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.

Toronto Argonauts: Edmonton Eskimos offensive line coach / run game coordinator Jonathan Himebauch has joined the Argonauts staff as offensive line / assistant head coach. 

South Carolina: Steve Spurrier reiterated that he won’t be getting rid of coaches, but hinted that adjustments could be coming.

Central Michigan: Hondo Carpenter of reports Notre Dame defensive line coach Mike Elston is in the mix for the CMU head coaching job. Elston previously coached at CMU from 2004-06 under Brian Kelly.

Kentucky: Former Cal defensive coordinator Andy Buh has interviewed for the open job on Mark Stoops’ staff, according to WKYT. Keep track of open FBS assistant jobs here.

New York Jets: Former Titans assistant wide receivers coach Kevin Patullo will join the Jets as quarterbacks coach, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Tennessee Titans:’s Gil Brandt tweets that he’s hearing former Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau could join the Titans, but Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt reports that, while he’s in play, it depends on what LeBeau wants to do.

Alabama: Former Chicago Bears defensive coordinator Mel Tucker will join the Alabama staff as defensive backs coach, according to Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans. Tucker was a graduate assistant under Nick Saban at Michigan State and served as Saban's defensive backs coach at LSU in 2000. Tucker was last in college in 2004 at Ohio State. This fills the last opening on Nick Saban's staff. 

Buffalo Bills: The Bills have hired former Bears offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer (offensive line), Clemson graduate assistant Michael Hamlin (special teams quality control), former Jets wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal (wide receivers), former Jets running backs coach Anthony Lynn (running backs / assistant head coach), former Jets intern D’Anton Lynn (defensive assistant) and former Titans offensive coordinator Chris Palmer (senior offensive assistant). In addition, Rex Ryan has retained assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson, defensive backs coach Donnie Henderson, outside linebackers coach Jason Rebrovich and offensive quality control coach Jason Vrable.

College Football Playoff: Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long has been re-elected as selection committee chairman. 

Denver Broncos: The Broncos have officially named Ravens quarterbacks coach Rick Dennison as offensive coordinator. In addition, former Bears linebackers coach Reggie Herring will join the Broncos in the same role, according to ESPN’s Adam Caplan. 

North Dakota State: Head coach Chris Klieman has agreed to a two-year extension through the 2020 season. 

LSU: Defensive coordinator Kevin Steele will earn $1 million annually in a two-year deal, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Alabama: Nick Saban has promoted defensive analyst Tosh Lupoi to outside linebackers coach.  

St. Louis Rams: According to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora, the Rams will interview Nate Hackett for the offensive coordinator position for a second time. Hackett served as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills in 2014.

Missouri: Missouri has announced that defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski has turned down an opportunity to become the co-defensive coordinator / defensive line coach at Illinois.  Here is the story from Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders are interested in Louisville defensive coordinator / outside linebackers coach Todd Grantham for their defensive coordinator job, according to NBC D.C.’s Dianna Maria Russini.

Oakland Raiders: Chiefs tight ends coach Bernie Parmalee will join the Raiders as running backs coach, and former Bills wide receivers coach Rob Moore will join the Raiders in the same position, according to the San Jose Mercury-News. 

Atlanta Falcons: Former Broncos linebackers coach Richard Smith is expected to join the Falcons as defensive coordinator, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, who also reports Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris will join the staff as assistant head coach and will run the pass defense.

VMI: Christopher Newport University (VA) defensive coordinator Justin Wood has joined the VMI staff, according to his Twitter account.

Missouri: Despite a report that has surfaced by another media outlet, CoachingSearch has learned that Missouri defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski has NOT accepted the co-defensive coordinator / defensive line job at Illinois. 

Alabama: Former UAB running backs coach Jody Wright is expected to join the Alabama staff as director of player personnel, according to  

Oakland Raiders: Lions assistant offensive line coach Bobby Johnson has accepted the tight ends job with the Raiders, according to Sports Illustrated’s Thayer Evans. 

Arizona Cardinals: Former Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau will not join the Cardinals staff, according to the Arizona Republic’s Kent Somers, who adds that Bruce Arians is expected to fill the open defensive coordinator job from within.

Atlanta Falcons: Former assistant offensive line coach Wade Harman will rejoin the Falcons as tight ends coach, according to ESPN’s Vaughn McClure. In addition, NBC D.C.’s Dianna Marie Russini reports that, if Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris joins the Falcons, it will not be as defensive coordinator.

Central Michigan:’s Hondo Carpenter reports Central Michigan has interviewed Detroit Lions special teams coordinator John Bonamego for their head coaching job. Bonamego is a former CMU player.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have requested to interview Packers senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith for their director of personnel job, according to Fox Sports’ Mike Garafolo.

New York Jets: Bears national scout Rex Hogan will join the Jets as director of college scouting, according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, who also reports Rams scout Brian Heimerdinger will join in a front office role. 

Houston Texans: Former Bears defensive line coach Paul Pasqualoni will join the Texans in the same role, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Chicago Bears: Former Broncos offensive quality control coach Bo Hardegree has joined the Bears as an offensive assistant. 

UNC-Pembroke: Per source, South Dakota outside linebackers coach Joe Ford will join the UNC-Pembroke staff as co-defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach. In addition, the school has announced that wide receivers coach Billy Lindquist has added the duties of recruiting coordinator. 

Alabama: Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Lane Kiffin will return next season, the school announced. Kiffin reportedly was a front-runner for the 49ers offensive coordinator job. Kiffin was a Broyles Award finalist last season. In a release, Nick Saban said, “He’s done a fabulous job and is one of the finest offensive coaches in the country. He is going to have plenty of opportunities in the future, and we want to continue to help him develop as a coach, so when he leaves here, he’ll be in a very good situation. Our offense was extremely productive last season, and we look forward to building on some of the good things we did on that side of the ball with this year’s team.”

Atlanta Falcons: Redskins defensive backs coach Raheem Morris is expected to join the Falcons staff, according to the Washington Post.

Cal: Graduate assistant Jacob Peeler has been promoted to inside receivers coach. In addition, offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Tony Franklin has added running backs duties, and running backs coach / run game coordinator Pierre Ingram moves to wide receivers coach / pass game coordinator. Linebackers coach Garret Chachere adds the title of associate head coach, and special teams coordinator Mark Tommerdahl adds the title of assistant head coach. This fills the last opening on Sonny Dykes’ staff. 

Chicago Bears: Former Browns quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains and former Falcons linebackers coach Glenn Pires have joined the Bears in the same roles.

Colorado State-Pueblo: Former McKendree University running backs coach / special teams coordinator Samuel Sewell has joined the CSU-Pueblo staff as running backs coach, according to his Twitter account. 

Houston: Tom Herman has officially named Ohio State football operations coordinator Fernando Lovo as Houston director of operations, as CoachingSearch first reported. In addition, Ohio State graduate assistant Adrian Mayes has been named director of recruiting, associate director of football operations Marcus McGraw has moved to director of player personnel, and director of operations Tory Teykl has moved to director of internal operations.

Utah State: Offensive line coach Mark Weber has added the title of associate head coach.

Florida International: Former Pitt defensive coordinator Matt House has been named to the same position at FIU. 

Virginia: Running backs coach Chris Beatty and offensive line coach Dave Borbely will each earn $220,000 in base salary and $30,000 in supplemental compensation, according to the Daily Press. 

LSU: Defensive line coach Ed Orgeron’s contract is a two-year deal worth $450,000 annually, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate. His deal also includes a clause that, if Les Miles were no longer the head coach, Orgeron would be paid for just the next six months. In addition, running backs coach / recruiting coordinator / associate head coach Frank Wilson will receive a pay increase to $660,000 as part of a three-year extension through 2017, and tight ends coach Steve Ensminger ($300,000), defensive backs coach Corey Raymond ($310,000) and wide recievers coach Adam Henry ($375,000) also have deals through 2017.

New York Jets: The Jets have announced the hiring of several assistants, including Dolphins defensive line coach Kacy Rodgers as defensive coordinator and Raiders special teams coordinator Bobby April Jr. to the same position. Other assistants include Karl Dorrell (wide receivers), Robby Brown (offensive quality control), Mike Caldwell (inside linebackers / assistant head coach), Mark Collins (outside linebackers), Joe Danna (defensive backs / safeties), Justus Galac (head strength and conditioning coach), Kavan Latham (assistant strength and conditioning coach) and Aaron McLaurin (assistant strength and conditioning coach).

Oakland Raiders: Sal Sunseri’s title with the Raiders is linebackers coach. 

Michigan: Jim Harbaugh’s contract has a base salary of $500,000 with $4.5 million in additional compensation for seven years, according to, with a 10 percent raise after the third and fifth years. In addition, Harbaugh must give U-M 48 hours notice before discussing other jobs, and if he terminates the contract, he owes U-M a portion of his $2 million signing bonus. Within 30 days of the final game of the 2015 season, the school will consider a deferred compensation bump. The assistant salary pool is between $4-5 million, not including strength and conditioning coaches.

Morehead State: East Carter HS (KY) head coach Zack Moore has joined the Morehead State staff as linebackers coach. Moore is a former Morehead player and assistant.

Phoenix College: The junior college has announced the hiring of former Washington assistant Dan Cozzetto as head coach. Cozzetto was most recently the run game coordinator for the FXFL's Boston Brawlers last summer.

Garden City Community College: Former Southwestern College assistant Logan Wyrick has joined the Garden City staff as tight ends coach. 

Texas State: Per source, Texas State has made some support staff adjustments. Offensive graduate assistant Carter English moves to recruiting coordinator, recruiting coordinator Reuben Vaughn moves to player development coordinator, and Pittsburg State graduate assistant Luke Miller has joined as a graduate assistant.

Tulsa: Stephenville HS (TX) head coach Joe Gillespie will join the Tulsa staff, according to Matt Stepp of Update: Tulsa has announced Gillespie as linebackers coach. Keep track of new FBS staffs here.

Houston Texans: National scout Jon Carr has been promoted to director of college scouting. 

Indianapolis Colts: Special assistant to the head coach Rob Chudzinski’s contract expires on Monday, and he is expected to interview for the Rams and 49ers offensive coordinator jobs, according to Fox Sports’ Alex Marvez. The Colts have blocked interview requests while he’s under contract.
