Kentucky: A source has informed me that former Kilgore JC offensive coordinator / assistant head coach Josh Pruitt has joined Mark Stoops' staff as an offensive grad assistant.

Cal: LA Tech head strength & conditioning coach Damon Harrington has accepted the same job at Cal with Sonny Dykes.

Washington Redskins: Sources tell me former FAU running backs coach David Serna will participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship with the Washington Redskins this summer.

San Francisco 49ers: According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, former Browns and Jets head coach Eric Mangini is in talks with the 49ers about joining as a consultant.

Study: The rise of MACtion

Vanderbilt: Iowa graduate assistant Tyler Barnes has accepted a job on the Vanderbilt staff. Barnes is Kirk Ferentz' future son-in-law.

Buffalo Bills: The Bills are expected to promote Doug Whaley to general manager.

Rutgers: Louisville executive senior associate AD Julie Hermann will be named athletic director at Rutgers.

Ole Miss: I've learned that Ole Miss will hire Tom Luke as the director of player development / campus relations. Luke is the older brother of Rebels' co-offensive coordinator / offensive line coach Matt Luke. In addition, Corey Batoon will now serve as the director of recruiting. Batoon, who followed Hugh Freeze from Arkansas State, served in a slightly different role last season with the Rebels. Tom Luke once served in a recruiting / relations type of role under former Ole Miss head coaches David Cutcliffe and briefly under Ed Orgeron.

New York Jets: According to the New York Daily News, assistant general manager Scott Cohen, director of football administration Ari Nissim, and multiple scouts are out.

Georgia: Former Georgia linebacker Christian Robinson will join Mark Richt's staff as a graduate assistant.

College football study: Top 25 best / worst red zone offenses over the last 3 years

Troy: Former Troy defensive coordinator / defensive backs coach Jeremy Rowell has joined Rush Propst's staff at Colquitt County HS (GA) as the safeties / special teams coach.

Glenville State: I've learned that Glenville State running backs coach Milo Austin will participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship with the St. Louis Rams.

The best 'big play' teams over the last 3 years, 2013 predictions

Arizona Cardinals: Terry McDonough will serve as an eastern scout.  Meanwhile, Dru Grigon will serve as the director of college scouting and Quintin Harris will serve as the director of pro scouting. Josh Scobey will also serve as a pro scout, former St. Louis Rams director of college scouting John Mancini as an area scout covering the midwest, former South Dakota player Glen Fox and Tulane staff member Darius Vinnett as scouting assistants, and former St. Louis director of scouting administration Debbie Pollom as college scouting coordinator.

Otterbein University: Otterbein University defensive backs coach Pete Davila has been chosen to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship program this summer with the Minnesota Vikings.
