Weber State: Former Kenyon College head coach Ted Stanley has accepted the tight ends job at Weber State.

NFL: DeMaurice Smith has agreed to a three-year extension to continue serving as the executive director of the NFL player representatives.

Miami (OH): Columbia HS (FL) offensive coordinator Ed Stults has joined Don Treadwell's staff as the new offensive line coach.

Louisville: Defensive quality control Tommy Restivo has been promoted to defensive backs coach.  Larry Slade will shift to an off-the-field position with the title of director of community relations & career preparation.

Eastern Washington: Southeast Missouri State defensive backs caoch Cherokee Valeria has officially joined the Eastern Washington staff as corners coach.

New Orleans Saints: Suspensions are as follows: Sean Payton (1 year), general manager Mickey Loomis (8 games), linebackers / assistant head coach Joe Vitt (6 games), former defensive coordinator Gregg Williams (indefinite). The organization has also been fined $800,000.  No second round picks for the Saints in 2012 or 2013, either.  Sean Payton will lose $7.5 million.

FAU: A report surfaced last night by the Sun-Sentinel that FAU athletic director Craig Angelos will not have his contract renewed.

Colorado State: Greg Lupfer's title will be defensive line coach, which shifts co-defensive coordinator Marty English to linebackers.

Jackson State: Head coach Rick Comegy says he will interview three candidates for the offensive coordinator position.  When Comegy promoted offensive line coach Gregory Black and wide receivers coach Derrick McCall to co-offensive coordinators, Comegy says it was just for spring practice.

Ole Miss: There is a report that Western Kentucky athletic director Ross Bjork will be named athletic director at Ole Miss.

Northern Michigan: Sewanee defensive coordinator Brian Newberry is the new defensive coordinator / linebackers coach at Northern Michigan.

Dayton: Offensive line coach Chris Ochs has been promoted to offensive coordinator.  Tight ends coach Kevin Hoyng will shift to quarterbacks and Kevin McCoy has been elevated to full-time status.

Sam Houston State: Former Missouri Southern State offensive coordinator Matt Barrett is the new wide receivers coach at Sam Houston State.

Youngstown State: Glenn Davis, who served as a defensive quality control at South Florida the last two years, has joined the Youngstown State staff as corners coach.

Eastern Washington: Former Eastern Illinois defensive line coach Brian Strandley has accepted the tackles / tight ends job at Eastern Washington.

Idaho: Former Hawaii offensive line coach Gordy Shaw has accepted the offensive line job at Idaho.

Ellsworth Community College: Hutchinson CC offensive coordinator / offensive line / assistant head coach Josh Gooch has accepted the head coaching job at Ellsworth Community College.
