Illinois: Tim Knox has joined the staff as director of football operations. Knox spent the last fifteen years at Western Michigan in the same capacity.
New Mexico: Sources tell me that Illinois State student-assistant Kane Kienan has accepted an offensive grad assistant job at New Mexico.
West Virginia: Former head coach Bill Stewart has suffered a heart-attack and died, according to West Virginia University. Please keep Stewart's family and friends in your thoughts. Here's a video of Stewart's chilling pre-game speech before a 48-28 win over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.
Doane College: a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences college in Crete, NE, invites applications for the position of Offensive Intern Football Coach. Job duties include Offensive Skill Position Coach, Possible Video Production responsibilities, recruiting, strength and conditioning, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Will work with Offensive Coordinator in all aspects of game-plan preparation and position work. Graduate classes are available although tuition is not provided. Alabama: North Carolina director of player personnel Marcus Berry has entered the mix for the same position at Alabama. Sources tell me that Berry will interview for the position in Tuscaloosa, today. |
