Miami Dolphins: Sources tell me the Miami Dolphins have selected former Florida Atlantic running backs coach David Serna to participate in the Bill Walsh Minority Internship Program during June minicamp.
Vanderbilt: James Franklin has issued a nice apology. It seems as though there are some sensitive people out there. Franklin has also tweeted, "Attempt at humor obviously fell a few yds short. Was speaking to the courage it takes 4 men 2 approach the women who become their wives!!!!!"
Southern Miss: Rickey Bustle and Steve Buckley are switching roles. Due to health reasons, Bustle will no longer serve as the offensive coordinator. Bustle will serve as the running backs coach, while Buckley will serve as the offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach.
Hines Ward: NBC Sports has hired Ward, who will serve as an analyst during Football Night in America.
Colorado State: Sources tell me Colorado State has two on-field grad assistant positions open. One is assisting with the the wide receivers, the other working with the defensive backs.
Arkansas: Defensive ends / special teams coordinator Steve Caldwell tweeted that he visited with the Kansas City Chiefs today.
NC State: NC State tight ends coach Don Horton will shift into an administrative role as the assistant director of football operations. Sources tell me that Tom O'Brien is leaning towards hiring a wide receivers coach. Currently, offensive coordinator Dana Bible coaches the quarterbacks and wide receivers.
Georgia: Mark Richt has announced that Jon Gruden has agreed to speak at Georgia's high school coaches clinic next spring.
Rick Neuheisel: The LA Times is reporting that Rick Neuheisel has been hired by SiriusXM's College Sports to co-host the College Football Playbook. Neuheisel will begin on Monday, according to the report. Neuheisel will also serve as an analyst for the PAC-12 Network.
Tennessee Titans: Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean is reporting scouting coordinator Blake Beddingfield is expected to receive a promotion.
Ole Miss: Sources tell me Ben Aigamaua has joined the Ole Miss staff as an offensive grad assistant. Aigamaua spent last season as a grad assistant at Arkansas Tech.
Bowling Green: Chad Bari has joined the Bowling Green strength staff as an assistant strength coach. Bari recently graduated from Youngstown State.
