Last Thursday, Skip Holtz became the head coach at Louisiana Tech.

On LA Tech's YouTube page, the school released a video detailing Holtz's first day as head coach the following day.

The eventful Friday included meeting with the current team, getting introduced to the media and public and a photo shoot.

"I chose you. I chose to be here with this football team because of the way I admired watching you play from afar," Holtz told the team. "I'm excited to have the opportunity to lead this football program and this group of young men right here into the future to make sure we're doing everything to graduate, give you every opportunity to help you grow socially as a man and also to have one of the best football programs in the entire country."

Holtz's first game as the Bulldogs coach will be a road game at NC State to open 2013.
