Texas Tech hires Kliff Kingsbury as head coach

Texas Tech has hired Kliff Kingsbury as head coach.

CoachingSearch.com first reported that Kingsbury was offered the job at 4:45 pm CT.

Now, Texas Tech AD Kirby Hocutt has announced just after 5:35 pm CT that Kingsbury is the new head coach of the Red Raiders.
