Rich Rod: That's why Nick is winning at Alabama

Rich Rodriguez says everyone in Tucson has been on the same page since Day 1.
It's a refreshing feeling for Rodriguez, who went through a difficult tenure at Michigan.
Rodriguez, however, admitted to ESPN's Colin Cowherd today that it's going to take him a little bit longer than he initially realized to get the Arizona program to where he wants it.
For Rich Rod, it's about finding OKG's.
Rodriguez said, "Everybody is seeing now that there is talent throughout the country. There is a large amount of talent in California, Arizona, and out west. The biggest thing is to find the guys that have talent and then love the game."
"You go down south, you know those kids love football because the people in the community love football. They are surrounded by it and are asked about it every day. There are parts out west that do the same thing, but there aren't as many parts."
"And so for us, it's about finding that talented guy that loves the game, doesn't like it, but loves it."
"We call it OKG's - our kind of guys - the guys that love the game and would do anything they can to get better. You want talent, but you want talent that wants to get better. That's the key. That's why Nick is winning at Alabama. He's getting talented guys that want to get better."
Yes, the West Coast is different, but don't let the perception get out of hand.
Rodriguez said, "It's not all the surf and sand, riding the waves. It's more serious than people think, but there's more to do. There's more distractions." (Beaches, lakes, mountains)
