What a day for the coaching carousel...

According to the Alabama 247Sports' site, Nick Saban has lost an assistant to the Chicago Bears and already found his replacement.

Alabama wide receivers  coach / recruiting coordinator Mike Groh has accepted a position on Marc Trestman's staff in Chicago.

Meanwhile, Saban has tabbed Florida State tight ends coach Billy Napier as the new wide receivers coach / recruiting coordinator for the Crimson Tide. Napier spent the 2012 season at Colorado State before recently joining Jimbo Fisher's staff.  Napier served as the offensive quality control at Alabama in 2011.

Earlier this week, Napier appeared near the top of the frequent mover points list.  Now, he's tied for the lead with Tennessee wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni.

Napier also makes the list of coaches that have accepted two different jobs in a matter of weeks. God bless his wife.

Lesson #1 when entering the coaching profession: NEVER try to map out your plan.

Earlier this off-season, Groh made the CoachingSearch.com list of college coaches most likely to land NFL job offers this off-season.

Earlier this week, CoachingSearch.com reporting that Nick Saban was looking to replace a number of young assistants. Check out the Coaching Search Ticker for the latest coach to interview at Alabama.

For those counting, this off-season, Jimbo has hired Alabama defensive backs coach Jeremy Pruitt as defensive coordinator and Alabama defensive intern George Helow as defensive grad assistant. Saban has hired only hired one FSU assistant, Billy Napier.  I might be nervous if I were Jimbo.
