San Jose State coaching search updates

- Colorado offensive line coach Klayton Adams, who spent two years on Mike MacIntyre’s staff at SJSU, is in the mix.

- Oklahoma State running backs coach Marcus Arroyo, who is a former SJSU player and coach, is in the mix.


- The school has reached out to former Fresno State head coach Pat Hill, according to Sports Illustrated. Hill last coached the Atlanta Falcons offensive line in 2013.

- Mercury News columnist Mark Purdy writes that former NFL QB Jeff Garcia should be the next SJSU head coach.


- The San Jose Mercury News’ Jon Wilner lists six potential candidates for SJSU: Colorado offensive line coach Klayton Adams, Oklahoma State running backs coach Marcus Arroyo, Oregon State wide receivers coach Brent Brennan, Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo, Arizona cornerbacks coach Donté Williams and former NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia.


- Head coach Ron Caragher has been dismissed.
