Les Miles explains running a red light like only he can

Les Miles might not be the safest of drivers.
Leading up to Saturday’s LSU-Alabama game, ESPN is going all-access with the teams. That includes riding along with Miles on his way to work.
Things didn’t start off great, with Miles having to be reminded to put on his seatbelt. Then, he stopped at a red light and drove through it. Well, according to Miles, he didn’t.
“I did not. Running would have to be like speeding,” he said. “I stopped. I want you to know, it changed. You didn’t notice. It changed. I anticipated the change.”
Les being Les. I wonder if that reasoning would work with a police officer? I’m going to try that next time I get pulled over.
Miles appreciated the passenger seat driving by ESPN’s Kaylee Hartung.
“You have instructed me to get my seatbelt on. You’re trying to get me in traffic. Frankly, maybe we should have let you drive.”
