College football's Wednesday night schedule in 2016

Yesterday, we looked at the Tuesday night college football schedule. Today, it’s Wednesday.

There are seven Tuesday night games this season, more than the five in each of the past three years. It’s a mix of MAC and Sun Belt games.

Seven of the 10 teams involved played in a bowl game last year, and this may include the biggest game of the Sun Belt season, as Arkansas State has won four of the last five league titles, and Georgia Southern won the Sun Belt in 2014.

Here is the Wednesday night schedule for 2015:

Week 6 (Oct. 5):

Georgia Southern at Arkansas State - 8 p.m. ET (ESPN2/

Week 7 (Oct. 12):

Appalachian State at Louisiana-Lafayette - 8 p.m. (ESPN2/

Week 10 (Nov. 2):

Toledo at Akron - 7:30 p.m. (ESPN2/

Week 11 (Nov. 9):

Bowling Green at Akron - 8 p.m. (TV TBA)

Toledo vs. Northern Illinois (Chicago) - 8 p.m. (TV TBA)

Week 12 (Nov. 16):

Northern Illinois at Eastern Michigan - Time TBD (ESPN2/U/

Ball State at Toledo - 7 p.m. (ESPN2/U/
